XCEL Energy ⁄ Tri-Town Valve replacement

We not only work with oil and gas at the well-head but we also help deliver it to the customer. We have been working with Xcel Energy for over 10 years and one recent example is XCEL Energy’s Tri-Town Valve Replacement Project. We engineered and built the valve sets, meter runs and piping with hydro-testing in our Berthoud facility, and then performed the field installation.

Field crews provided excavation for the installation of valves with header piping and three additional trenches for the installation of new 12" and 16" piping. Field welds were 100% x-ray tested, primed and taped for underground installation and painted for above ground installations. Four concrete pipe supports, 24" dia x 48" long were installed and the site was backfilled and restored to original condition.
