Pecan Pipeline Company ⁄ Gas Dehydration Tower.
Stanley, North Dakota
Engineer / Kahuna Ventures
This 98-foot-high tower with bubble trays for gas dehydration required our Gillette fabrication facility to develop and implement new welding and QA/QC procedures as well as address industrial hygiene concerns connected with the large amounts of confinedspace internal welding. We put our welders through a project-specific quality, safety and certification program. Inspections and registration of the tower went off without any difficulty, even with the need for 25,000 gallons of water to hydrostatically test the completed vessel.
The project called for a high level of communication between the engineer, bubble tray manufacturer and owner. The tower was delivered and installed as promised.
Project Size: $300,000
