DCP Midstream ⁄ Colbran Compressor Station Coalescing Filter Project.

Hettinger LLC provided engineering, design, fabrication and testing to build multiple vessels,including both the inlet and discharge porous media filtration vessels for the Colbran Compressor Station.

We provided the project with three 48" x 156" vertical inlet porous media coalescing filters designed to remove particulates in the system , and installed the pipeline ahead of the compressors. We also fabricated two additional 42" x 144" porous media vertical discharge coalescing filter separators that eliminate lube oils down-stream. Both inlet and outlet porous media filter separators have quick opening closures and unisection catwalks to provide improved safety and easy access for filter replacement and maintenance. The vessels were built, heat treated and hydro tested to ASME Code specifications. For added safety and operations each vessel separator is equipped with liquid level gauges, level operators, and differential pressure switches, pressure gauges and thermal relief valves.
